Step By Step Outlook Email Setup Guide

Change the email incoming and outgoing settings to imap.dreamhost.com and smpt.dreamhost.com respectively AND change the security to SSL with port numbers 993 & 465 respectively. Here's how: 1. Open Outlook. 2. Click File. 3. Click Account Settings. 4. Click Account Settings again. 5. Click Change. 6a. Under Incoming mail servers type in imap.dreamhost.com
6b. Under Outgoing mail servers type in smpt.dreamhost.com
7. Click More Settings
8. Click the Advanced tab
9. Change Incoming server (IMAP) to 993 (double check before selecting OK on step 12)
10. Change Outgoing server (SMTP) to 465 (double check before selecting OK on step 12)
11. Select SSL for "Use the following type of encrypted connection" for both drop downs
12. Click OK
13. Click Next
14. Click Finish
15. Click Close

-If it says it can't find an encrypted connection, and asks if it can proceed with an unencrypted connect, that is fine to do. It may fail, if it does, keep moving forward. _________________
-If You Are Not Seeing A Sent Folder In Outlook
In your new account after setup, do the following: set the Root folder path to Inbox. To do this, in Outlook, click File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Highlight your IMAP account and click Change > More Settings > Advanced > Type Inbox in the 'Root folder path' field and then click Ok. 1. Go to the Play Store icon on your agency phone.
2. Where the link above with the photos picks up: Search for TypeApp
3. Install it. If you already have it on your phone, uninstall it using the "UNINSTALL" button next to the "OPEN" button, then proceed to install it.
4. Follow the visual guide linked to above.
5. You will need to set the Incoming server (IMAP) to 993 and Outgoing server (SMTP) to 465
6. Security settings for both are SSL/TLS
*If the mobile method above fails during the automatic setup, do a manual setup choosing IMAP from the options in TypeApp and plug in the requested information manually. In addition to the incoming and outgoing numbers above, you'll need to set this address as the incoming server and the outgoing server: imap.dreamhost.com and smtp.dreamhost.com respectively.
