Library Resource Center:
The resource database contains information on the community services individuals and communities need to sustain and improve their daily lives--health care and childcare, job training, education and recreation, retirement, disability and social service information. This Directory contains information on nonprofit and public health and human service programs and some for-profit programs such as housing. As in a library, information is logically organized according to a standard classification system known as the INFO-LINE Taxonomy.

This site will allow you to freely list and search for properties across the state.

MIFA:
MIFA serves over 60,000 individuals annually through programs in three areas of focus: sustain the independence of seniors, stabilize and transform families in crisis and equip urban teens for success.

Partners for the Homeless:
Linking planners, providers, data and resources to develop a sensible system for ending homelessness.

Tennessee Department of Children's Services:
Tennessee's public child welfare agency, the Department of Children’s Services is responsible for helping some of our state's most vulnerable citizens. Our case managers have the responsibility investigating cases of child abuse and neglect. Our resource parent specialists work to find good foster homes and adoptive families. Our juvenile justice program treats the youthful offenders who are sent to us by the courts.

Tennessee Department of Human Services:
The mission of the Tennessee Department of Human Services is to improve the well-being of economically disadvantaged, disabled or vulnerable Tennesseans through a network of financial, employment, rehabilitative and protective services. The Department is responsible for administering numerous services throughout Tennessee, including Families First, the state's Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, Food Stamps (now known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP) , Medicaid/TennCare, Child Support, Child Care Licensing, Child Care Assistance, Adult Protective Services, and Rehabilitation Services. With 133 office locations, DHS is one of the few state agencies with offices in all 95 counties.

Seedco:
Seedco is a national non profit organization that helps low-income people and communities move toward economic prosperity.

Agape:
Agape means Love. For children, for families, for Christ. Our mission is to be a Christ-centered ministry that provides children and families with healthy homes. We engage in this pursuit through a variety of programs and services. 

Midsouth Food Bank:
Serving nearly 300 charitable feeding programs in 31 Mid-South counties, The Mid-South Food Bank fights hunger by efficiently collecting and distributing wholesome food, while educating the community about the problem of hunger and advocating on behalf of hungry people. Mid-South Food Bank is a member of Feeding America and the Safety Net Collaborative.

Cover Tennessee:
Governor Phil Bredesen developed Cover Tennessee to create health insurance options that are affordable and portable, and meet the needs of the uninsured in our state. Cover Tennessee has four programs.

Memphis City Schools Adult Basic Education:
A resource for those wishing to prepare for GED.

Southwest TN Community College:

Advance Memphis:
Here you will find programs geared toward financial independence.

Family Safety Center Memphis:
This resource provides one location that effectively combines civil, criminal, health and social services for victims of family violence.

Memphis/Shelby County Domestic Violence Council:
MSCDVC is a diverse, interdisciplinary coalition supported by public, private and volunteer efforts that develops and implements practical, measurable, outcome strategies to reduce and prevent domestic violence.

Tennessee Career Center-Memphis:
Tennessee has a network of centers across the state where employers can go to find workers they need and job seekers can get career information and services. Each center offers computerized labor market information, Internet access, workshops, an on-line talent bank, job placement, recruitment and training.

Deneuville Center:
The Deneuville Center assists women of all backgrounds and cultures in learning the skills needed to make positive choices for themselves and their families.

The Center for Research on Women:
The mission of the Center for Research on Women (CROW) is to conduct, promote, and disseminate scholarship on women and social inequality.
